Lawrence E. “Ed” Dickinson
Chief Executive Officer
Lawrence E. “Ed” Dickinson originally joined LMI in 1993 as chief financial officer, and later took on other roles before retiring in June 2016. In his brief retirement, Ed continued to serve as a consultant to the company. In November 2017, he rejoined LMI as interim chief operating officer, and was named chief executive officer in February 2018.
During his previous tenure at LMI, Ed also played an integral role in the start-up of the company’s Tulsa, Okla., processing operation, and the acquisition and integration of several key capabilities and organizations into LMI’s corporate structure. In November 2013, he was named president overseeing the integration of the company’s Valent Aerostructures acquisition. He served as president of corporate development and strategy from January 2015 until June 2016.
Ed began his career in public accounting, then served as a cost accountant and credit analyst at Monsanto Company, before transitioning to the aerospace industry. He was at LaBarge for nearly a decade, serving in various finance roles and ultimately as controller. He holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University of Alabama and a Master of Business Administration from Washington University in St. Louis.
Chief Operating Officer
Craig joined LMI in February 2018 as chief operating officer. He previously had 20 years of leadership experience transforming manufacturing operations and supply chains for global businesses. Most recently, Craig served as general manager of Parker Aerospace’s Stratoflex Products Division. Prior to that, he served as a Doncasters division president and GM; president of Bell Aerospace Services; vice president and GM for the Textron Gear Technologies division; plant manager and director of integrated supply chain at Honeywell Airframe Systems; global sourcing director for Honeywell Engines, Systems & Services; and purchasing director at Cummins Engine Co.
Craig holds a Bachelor of Science in mechanical engineering from the University of Kentucky and a Master of Business Administration in operations management from Indiana University. He also is Lean Six Sigma Green Belt and Black Belt certified.
Clifford C. Stebe, Jr.
Chief Financial Officer
Cliff joined LMI as corporate controller in June 2010, and has served as chief financial officer since November 2013. He also served as interim chief executive officer from October 2017 to February 2018.
Prior to joining LMI, Cliff worked at PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP for approximately 12 years, where he held various positions, including Senior Manager of Assurance and Business Advisory Services during his final four years at the firm.
Cliff has a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Saint Louis University with a double major in accounting and finance, and he is a Certified Public Accountant. He serves on the advisory board to the Department of Accounting at St. Louis University Richard A. Chaifetz School of Business, as well as the finance advisory board for Francis Howell School District in Saint Charles, Missouri.
Chief Commercial Officer
Dave originally joined LMI in 1996 as a supply chain manager. He worked in various operations and business development roles of increasing responsibility, eventually serving as vice president of Corporate & Business Development from March 2016 to July 2018, when he left to pursue another opportunity. He returned to LMI in his current role in July 2019.
Prior to first joining LMI, Dave worked in procurement for Tyson Foods managing domestic and international MRO and subcontracting activities.
Dave has a Bachelor of Science in business administration from Seattle City University. He also completed executive leadership programs at New York University’s Stern School of Business and the University of Washington’s Foster School of Business.
Vice President, Human Resources & General Counsel
Brian joined LMI in February 2016 as assistant general counsel, and has served as general counsel since October 2017. He also served as interim HR leader since April 2019.
Prior to joining LMI, Brian was an attorney at Polsinelli PC, a national law firm, where he counseled clients – including LMI – through a variety of transactions. Brian holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Missouri – St. Louis and a law degree from Southern Illinois University. Brian is chair of the Finance & Legal Studies Advisory Board at the University of Missouri – St. Louis, and board secretary of St. Louis Makes Inc., a trade association supporting innovative manufacturers.
Jay P. Inman Jr.
President, Engineering Services
Jay joined LMI Aerospace in January 2014 as vice president of D3 Engineering. He served as chief operating officer of Engineering Services from February 2015. He was appointed acting president of Engineering Services in September 2015, and was formally named in that role in January 2017.
Jay brings more than 34 years of aerospace industry experience in aerostructures development, manufacturing, certification, integrated product team leadership, and program management. Prior to joining LMI, he served in various engineering and program leadership roles at Triumph Aerostructures, Aviation Partners Boeing and Vought Aircraft.
Jay holds a Bachelor of Science in mechanical engineering from Texas A&M University.
Director, Corporate Communications
Amy joined LMI in March 2015 as director of Corporate Communications.
Prior to joining LMI, Amy worked at The Boeing Company for more than 14 years, where she held various communications positions. Previously, she served as communications specialist for Litton Interconnect Technologies. She holds a Bachelor of Science in communications management and a Master of Arts in communications from Missouri State University. Amy serves as board vice president of Warren County Literacy Inc., a non-profit organization focused on improving early literacy throughout Warren County, Missouri. She also serves as vice president on the Friends of the Scenic Regional Library – Warrenton Branch in Warrenton, Missouri.
